Meet the Principal

Principal Daryl Newton began his career in education as a science and math teacher at Tevis Junior High in January of 1993. Over the course of nearly 13 years, he taught mostly science and sports officiating. In addition to teaching, he also served as the District Recreation Facilitator for 8 years. In 2005, Mr. Newton became the Vice Principal of Warren Junior High. In 2009, he became the Leo B. Hart Elementary School Principal. He recently completed 13 years as a principal.

Mr. Newton married his wife, Denise, in 1990. They have two sons.
